As working parents, they might think for the betterment of their child and therefore tend to put them in boarding schools or schools having hostel accommodations. There can be many side effects – positive and negative – on the child, depending on the child’s understanding, environment and family love. A positive effect will make the child to be stronger and capable of being in a competitive situation both in and outside school environment; discipline is imbibed to the child to perform all their duties and thereby not making them drag their feet. The negative effects can make them detached from their family (if they there isn’t any communication and understanding between the child and the parents) and ragging and bullying can make the child loose confidence and make him/her bitter. Finally, a child does tend to get fed-up from fixed routines and tends to rebel against these daily and timely duties.
